Laws Codes of the Game The NRL has various Laws depending generally on the age of the players. Modified Games Program covers Mini Footy and Mod League ( 6 to 12 years). Players above the age of 13 years compete under the International laws format. The NRL Safeplay Code (for all players 15 years and under) was developed to emphasize safety and good conduct within the game by creating the best possible on-field environment as well as actively controlling undesirable actions. If Blue Haven Oval is closed, your team is not permitted to undertake training which also includes the areas surrounding Blue Haven Oval. Report Player Injuries Player welfare is the number one priority of the Blue Haven Raiders JRLC is paramount! The First Aid Officer has the final say on whether a player not continues or when to continue playing in a game. A FAO may request a player seek a medical clearance from their doctor that must state: he/she has been cleared to return to training and playing rugby league. Zero Tolerance Any participant behaviour including misconduct, breach of the constitution or any by-law, failure to comply with directions or decisions of the club committee or is involved in behaviour detrimental or prejudicial to the welfare & image of the Blue Haven Raiders may be cited to appear before our clubs Disciplinary Officers to answer such compliant. A complaint against any participant will be lodged with the club secretary within seventy two hours of the incident. Once notice has been given to that the participant, he/she is suspended from all activities related to the club until the issue is resolved by the clubs Disciplinary Officers. The participant has Fourteen days from the time of service to make submissions relating to matter to Disciplinary Officers. CCDJRL Player Transfer Rule No more than 3 players from an age group at one club will be allowed to transfer to an age group at another junior club. Dispensation from this rule will be considered upon written application to the CCDJRL Management Committee. A player cannot train or play for his new club until a transfer has been approved. Code of Conduct, Safe Play and Tough Love rules apply and enforced by Blue Haven Raiders JRLC and Central Coast Division of Junior Rugby League. Game Times Mini: 6-7-8-9’s three periods of ten minutes Mod: 10-11-12’s two halves of twenty minutes International: 13-14-15’s two halves of twenty five minutes International: 16’s two halves of thirty minutes No Time Off: No age group has game time paused Except the U/16’s which is strictly for player injury signalled or instructed by the referee. League Reserve or Replacement Mini players play a minimum of one unbroken period of ten minutes & Mod players to play an unbroken period of twenty minutes. In both cases injuries being the exception and sanctioned by the attending F.A.O 13 – 16 years up to six replacements can be used at any time during the game. Players coming from a lower division or lower age group are to be used as final reserves. They cannot take the field before a healthy member of the original team and cannot enjoy more game time than a healthy member of the original team. No Division One player can play in a higher age group in Division three Minis, Mod league or International. CCDJRL will fine clubs, remove points from the team. Volunteer Screening Forms Working with children consent forms are required to be completed by everyone who comes into contact with players. These forms will be retained by our club and may be required by Central Coast Rugby League or Police. Volunteers who do not wish to undertake a working with children screening, will not be permitted to conduct any club duties. Act 1998 Players Uniform Chris Barrett is responsible for of our clubs apparel and training equipment.Our uniform is provided during late March or early April due to being tailored for the individual player. Lost or replacement uniform is available for purchase from Chris during training. All players are to be attired in 2013 Jerseys, Socks and Shorts approved by the Central Coast Junior Rugby League. 2013 Player Fees If you have chosen to pay a player registration deposit, balance of registration is required in full by Round 1 Saturday 27th April, 2013. Our club policy is ensures all the appropriate medical insurance & player uniform is available and secure to all players within our club.
