Round 7 (wet weather catch up games) Saturday, June 12th, 2010 9 Blue Blue Haven 30 v Northern Lakes 34 Well done to all the boys after a long break due to the weather. These 2 teams are very even as the score suggests in there last 2 games only 2 points difference in total. After giving Lakes a good lead the boys started to click into gear and put in a good all round team effort but were beaten by the clock. Defence was improving as the game went on with some great effort defending on our line. The game was entertaining with full length of the field tries. Tip of the day (keep enjoying the footy boys thats what its all about) Tries 2 Jarrod, 2 Brayden, 1 Jayden.
Best Defence was Jayden and took home the well deserved player of match trophy. Another nail biter well done boys. Craig (Manager) Competition Team Results - 10/1s 6 def by The Entrance 38.

Player of The Match: Jim H Tries: 2 Nicholas, Lachlan, 4 Jim, Riley, Jak.
Goals: Riley
Great team effort today boys, we played with 2 players down but managed to run away with our second win for the season. Young Lachlan got a great break through to score his first try of the season, as well as Jak picking up his first try also. Jim and Riley had good defence work and the whole team played a great game...
With more training on the bags, the boys will be unstoppable...
Well done team!!!!
Daryl Stanford (Coach) Wayde Moon (Trainer) TIGERS UPSET THE RAIDERS The Entrance Tigers def Blue Haven Raiders 38-6 Blue Haven Raiders winning streak has come to an end. Time for the boys to reflect on what went wrong and how they can learn from it all. Putting more effort in at training will help the boys immensly. Goodluck this weekend boys! DONT FORGET BOYS BE AT BLUE HAVEN OVAL FOR PHOTOS BY 7:00 AM ON SATURDAY. BRING YOUR ENVELOPES AND MONEY WITH YOU. Kelly (Manager) Under 8B vs Wyong @ Wyong A brilliant game today boys. With a strong running game, some good backing up and offloads, and a good team defensive effort the boys scored a fantastic 11 tries defeating Wyong 52-8. When running the ball today all of the boys ran straight and hard with lots of tries scored from long runs. Our Man of the Match today scoring 3 tries, kicking a goal and making some top class tackles was Jonah. McDonalds awards went to Reece and Brandon. Reece covered heaps of ground when scoring his 4 tries, also kicked a goal and worked solidly in defence. Brandon scored after a great run from the tap off and also converted. Ahmed, Aydan and Pita all ran well, also backed up their team mates and made some good tackles. Jordan and Luke were our other try scorers with Luke scoring two, converting one and making his usual truckload of tackles. Jordan worked well in dummy half, made some good runs and scored a try. Brayden and Zane also had some good runs, and worked well in defence. The boys applied lots of pressure in defence today and had one of their best running games, they never stopped trying all day and were well rewarded with this win. Well done boys, keep up the good work! Kellie (Manager) 14 Green 0 defeated by Gosford Kariong 16 We knew this would be our biggest test yet, and for the first half it could have gone any way. Our silly mistakes and penalties allowed them to spend alot of time in our own half. Our defence stood the test and looked like they were getting frustrated at no result! The second half we did'nt muscle up like the first half. More silly turnovers allowed them to get the momentum and apply the pressure and our defence went missing. We will learn from this. Wayne (Coach)
