CLOSED WEDNESDAY JUNE 30th, 2010 U/6s to U/9s Mini Footy and Mod League: Great way for kids to learn the fundamentals of Rugby League in an environment that is suitable for both boys and girls. Both Mini Footy and Mod League allow children to grow their skills but include modifications to suit their physical, mental and skill level. Mini Footy, Mod League and International Rugby League operate under the National Safeplay Code and the National Code of Conduct. These codes were developed to emphasise safety and good conduct in the game of Rugby League. These teams are not graded, our Coaching Coordinator assist Coaches during trials to place children with their friends and have approximately the same number of experienced players in each team. Blue Haven Raiders policy is that equal playing time is provided for all players participating within Mini League. U/10's to U/12's Mod League: These teams compete within a competition format during the Central Coast Junior Rugby League Season and will be graded. Grading into teams will be finalized after the last Club Trial Games. Players may be split into several teams in each age group to allow for Coaches to have a manageable size for training and trials. Blue Haven Raiders policy is that equal playing time is provided for all players participating within Blue Haven Coaching Staff: All Blue Haven teams have an Australian Rugby League Level 1 or higher Qualifed Coach (NCAS), that strive to ensure our players learn basic skills, drills and techniques that introduces fun, fitness and achievement from physical activity and sport. Our Coaching Staff and Club Management reinforce and reward sportsmanship and behavior instead of making judgments based on performance only. Blue Haven Teams: a. Have an ARL Level 1 or higher Qualifed Coach (NCAS). b. Have an ARL Qualifed League Safe Trainer. Blue Haven Management: a. Strictly enforce ARL National Safe Play Code & Code of Conduct. b. Blue Haven players that display inappropriate behaviour, including swearing will recieve 1 Strike. If a Blue Haven player recieves 3 strikes, he or she will miss there next game. No Exceptions to this Club Policy. Blue Haven Player Training: a. A Qualified ARL First Aid Officer is available during all Blue Haven Raiders training and home game days. b. Players are required to bring a Water Bottle to training. c. Players must wear Enclosed Footwear whilst undertaking any team training (No Shoes/Boots No Training). d. Players must remove Jewelery & Piercing before particpating within any team training or game day. e. Players must not wear Boxer Shorts or Skins during any team training or game day. Blue Haven Head Coach: Brian Howden is responsible for the management of the Raiders coaching program and promoting the value of coaching within our club. There is no time off for injury in any game except the under 16’s! (injury only) b. If an ambulance is called and the game has to be stopped for a length of time time keepers must keep the game clock running. c. Referee's always signal time off because they are trained to do so. d. Timekeepers should ignore anyone that informs them to pause the clock for injury!
2010 Player Fees: a. 1st Child: $95.00, 2nd Child: $90.00, 3rd Child: $80.00 and the 4th Child: $60.00. b. Blue Haven Raiders J.R.L.C provide Club Shorts, Club Socks and Medical Insurance. c. Upon Full Receipt Of Player Registration Fees Our Player Recieves A Club Jacket. d. No Refunds for PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES
New & Existing Blue Haven Player Requiremnts: a. Two passport sized photographs. b. Original birth certificate. c. U/10's,U/13s and U/16s must provide TWO NEW passport photographs each year. d.
