Round 12 Saturday, July 24th, 2010 13/1s v Woy Woy WON-24-22 Tries: Mitch x 3 - Thomas x 1 Goals: Thomas x 3, Thomas - 1 x Penalty Goal. The team travelled down to Rogers Park knowing that your season was on the line. The spirit & determination that you boy's showed, made your Club, Coaching Staff, Parents & Supporters VERY PROUD. With some big runs up the middle by the forwards & solid defence, the whole team just pulled together to secure this victory. Mitch scoring a hat trick of tries, Thomas a try plus his goal kicking skills show's that Blue Haven is semi-final material. We put a couple of tries on early in the game & Woy Woy fought back to take the lead & we scored a fine try to level up at 22 all. 30 seconds to go a penalty was given and we opted for the kick while the fulltime hooter had gone, Thomas cool as a cucumber put it between the sticks giving us the game. A special mention goes to Thomas for his 40-20 kick which had the referee scratching his head, as not many are kicked at this age level. Great Work Thomas. WELL DONE TEAM Gary, Scott, Luke, Trent & Mark To view other team reports, see the main menu of this website.
